There are tons of comic books and superheros in existence and a few of them have been realized on the big screen. The superhero is big money in Hollywood and those with the ability to do so have been trying to capitalize on these men and women of the comic book for years.

It seems that most of the films made on the subject of the superhero are based on characters or stories that have been around for a good while, so I wonder what the first film based on a more recently created character will be.

It’s not surprising that the older the comic book or character, the more broad its demographic. Spiderman and Superman were around when adults of today were the kids of yesterday reading about web-slinging and building-leaping by the shores of Rio de Wherever on summer afternoons. Who wouldn’t want to see their childhood hero brought to life by that wheelchair guy or the one who looks like the Hobbit character?

Even those real stinkers of superhero movies, such as X-Men 3, Hulk, Fantastic 4 (both I’m afraid), or the celluloid abortion that is the latest Spiderman vehicle, have raked in several millions. People seem to just love watching these kinds of characters do their thing, regardless of whether the film they’re in is good or not. It’s interesting that all of these films have one thing in common. They feature characters who were invented quite a few years ago.

So who’s next? Who will be the first modern-day-invented superhero to break box-office records? Are there any new superhero characters that may one day have as much appeal to the general public as those in X-Men or Batman? As an interesting side note, it seems that the least respected of the Spiderman films is the latest featuring a relatively recently invented foe.

There seems to be two kinds of superhero. Those who have special powers or abilities and those who just like dressing up in costumes and taking out the bad guy trash with cool gadgets. The latter are usually bred from some deep urge to fight for the greater good.

Those who have powers are either born with them (X-Men), are transformed because of some exposure to radiation, animal bite, both or some other kind of technological intervention (Spiderman, Hulk), or are aliens (Superman). The other kind? The usual story of parents or favorite female killed or having an epiphany after years of not caring.

What will be the back story of the first modern made superhero to get a movie franchise? Will it be a character dealing with a lot of inner turmoil, who is haunted by their past or just some dude who can sneeze acid? Lets hope it’ll be a character of interest with as much appeal as those in the films that have been done right. If history will indeed repeat itself, it may be 20 years before that film is made and there’ll be a wide enough fan base to support the franchise. Let’s hope it’s worth the wait.

There were times when somebody wanted to see a movie, then the one and only option was to go to the local nearby movie theatre. Then came the era of videos, where you could easily record your desired movie from television and see them again and again, till the tape totally wore out. Purchasing movie videos means that you can watch your favorite movies prior to they came on television, generally after a very short time they came in the cinemas.

However, from last few years, technology has augmented at tremendous pace. You are no longer limited to watch movies at theaters or at television only, as now you have much more alternatives than the traditional ones. One can see movies online now.

Various movie download sites have gradually sprung up in the limelight of this new technology. What all is required to see a movie online is a computer and a high speed Internet connection. However, the manner the movie download sites work can differentiate from site to site and download speed too.

Undoubtedly, technology in no ways has stopped growing, and with the time, new technology keeps on coming in various ways of viewing your favorite movies. Additionally, it is now quite doable to transfer the movie downloads on your mobile phones and see it whenever you like to and also can share it with your friends by transferring it to their mobile phones. The same can be done with iPods and mp3 players also. Now you can easily watch movies at your ease. For few people, this is a nice option to spend their time at long train journeys, waiting at stations and airports. Moreover, one can watch movies during the work breaks.

However, there are three kinds of movie download sources which you can use. Those are:

Free movie downloads sources

Those sources allow you to movie download at no cost and with no sign up and no billings. Though, with free movie download comes various consequences such as no protection from any kind of virus. Moreover, they also contain pop up advertisements, ad ware and spy ware on your computer. The reason why free movie download movies enables you to download movies at no cost is because they are being paid for bombarding your computer with ad ware and spy ware at the time when you open their sites to click on movie download option. This can however, slow down the speed of your PC drastically.

Quality movie download site

Such movie download sites proffer you to pay a per movie download fee with a monthly payment plan. Mainly, you sign up to be charged every month for access to a number of movies. The remaining movie choice is accessible for pay per movie. However, with the quality movie download sites, the quality of the DVD is guaranteed.

Unlimited movie downloads site

There are various sites that proffer you millions of free movie download options just after one time fee. You can easily access to such free movie downloads for your entire life.

It is possible to search movie of every genre, whatever your taste is, something that will be always available for you to download and take pleasure in, no matter what the time is and wherever you are.

It’s been almost a decade since the original Matrix movie introduced popular culture to the idea of reality as an illusion. Not that it’s new idea at the time – millenia worth of philosophers have been saying again and again that reality as we know it, reality as we sense it, cannot exactly be thought of and regarded as real. Our senses can deceive us, after all, and in the end, we cannot truly rely on the material as a gauge what reality, and thus meaning, is. It is the general consensus of the multitude of intellectual fans of the Matrix franchise that the 1999 film had managed to modernize the idea well enough for even the common man to grasp it.

The idea that reality is an illusion was wonderfully solidified by the fact that around that point, technology had advanced enough to create cyberspace and other forms of telecommunication – in essence, we had by then developed a separate reality in which we can function.

We can call it virtual reality or any other name, but the gist of it is that we have proven that a viable “reality” can be created by mere mortals with the help of technology. What this means, as the Matrix movie had expressed so wonderfully at the turn of the millenium, is that reality can be manipulated in the context of the mind. A real-time conversation with an acquaintance over a chatroom is just as real as a face-to-face conversation one has with a dear friend.

One can have a real friendship with someone without having to meet – without having to be in the same continent, even. It was therefore proven in a practical sort of way that the philosophers were indeed correct in claiming that reality is fluid.
