Design Considerations in Choosing Dining Room Furniture
The dining set is the centerpiece of the dining room; it is therefore very important to choose dining room furniture that fits the overall design of the dining room. The most basic guideline is to choose a dining set color that matches or complements the color of the room; as a rule, black almost goes well with anything. Also, use appropriately designed placemats and dinnerware. Keep in mind that the dining room should radiate a cheerful and sunny atmosphere that is conducive to sharing meals with family and friends.
